Accounting Manager

This position will work closely with senior management and is responsible for preparing monthly financial reports, budget to actual variances, and financial analysis for a division with complex multiple programs. Also analyzes trends and estimates revenues, expenses and obligations to predict future needs and potential risks. Coordinates contractual and financial activities. Provides financial and analytical support, including development of budgets, contract renewals and ongoing contract issues. Supervisory responsibilities. We are looking for someone with the skills to hit the ground running as we continue to grow! Must have verifiable experience as a lead accountant/analyst. Work experience with governmental accounting and/or retail accounting preferred but not required. Experienced with departmental/divisional accounting, including consolidations. Proven analytical ability and intellectual curiosity an absolute. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management, and a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role. Minimum qualifications include: knowledge of basic treasury functions, accounting principles, internal control systems, financial analysis and reporting techniques, strong analytical and mathematical skills; intermediate Excel skills; proven ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of an organization and stakeholders are a necessity. Strong preference given to individuals with non-profit experience.Full-Time with benefits. Post-offer background,reference check and physical test required.
